First timers antenatal courses are six weeks long. Classes are taught from our homes in Bushey, near Watford on Wednesdays from 19:30 to 21:30.

Can I attend as a single parent?

Yes, single parents are very welcome and you may wish to bring a birth partner or friend/family member too.

We recommend booking your place after you've had your 12 week scan - classes tend to book up quickly.

You don't need to worry if you miss a class because everything is covered in our digital Course Companion, a 50 page booklet which accompanies the course.

We don't cover it on our course. We work with Green Turtle First Aid, a small business offering high quality, accredited first aid courses delivered by an experienced paramedic.

What size are the groups?

We organise courses by estimated due date so it varies but the maximum number is 8 couples per group.

Will everyone have similar due dates?

Everyone in your group will have estimated due dates within 6-8 weeks.

Is Hello Baby the same as NCT?

This is our most frequently asked question! The NCT (National Childbirth Trust) is one organisation delivering antenatal education. The term 'NCT' has become a generic name for antenatal classes, like we call vacuum cleaners a 'Hoover', but NCT is just a brand. Hello Baby is an independent business offering midwife-led antenatal classes. Our popular classes cover all aspects of birth, newborn baby care and early parenthood and are 5* rated by all our parents.
